چکیده

Endophytic bacteria are known to contain various bioactive substances. Pineapple peel (Ananas comosus L.) is a waste product utilized in environmental preservation. The present study focused on the isolation of endophytic from pineapple peel, and assessment their antibacterial activity. ethyl acetate extracts isolated were tested for activity using disc diffusion method. components bacterial extract identified by UPLC-MS/MS analysis. Extract (Bacillus velezensis WSM-1) had highest with an inhibition zone diameter 17.71 mm 15.87 against Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli, respectively. UPLC MS/MS analysis several compounds, including; 6-Methoxyquinoline, 2-(6-amino-9H-purin-9-yl)-5- (hydroxymethyl)oxolane-3,4-diol, Aklavin, Maltotriose, Cholestanetriol, Piperic acid, Isoflavone, Paromomycin, Mycaloide B. Paromomycin have It type antibiotic that belongs aminoglycoside class commonly used treat infections caused gram-negative bacteria. results suggest isolate potential there need further characterize active constituents.&nbsp

Characterization of Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxykinase from Pineapple Leaves Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.

Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase has been partially purified from pineapple (Ananas comosus [L.]) leaves. Specific activities obtained show it to be a major activity in this tissue. Above 15 C, the respective activation energies for decarboxylation and carboxylation are 13 and 12 kcal/mol. Below 15 C, there are discontinuities in Arrhenius plots with an associated large increase in activation ...

Cloning and Expression Analysis of a PISTILLATA Homologous Gene from Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr)

PISTILLATA (PI)-like genes are crucial regulators of flowering in angiosperms. A homologue of PI, designated as AcPI (Genbank accession number HQ717796), was isolated from pineapple cultivar Comte de Paris by reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). The cDNA sequence of AcPI is 907 bp in length and contains an open reading frame of 59...

Purification, characterization, and antifungal activity of chitinases from pineapple (Ananas comosus) leaf.

Three chitinases, designated pineapple leaf chitinase (PL Chi)-A, -B, and -C were purified from the leaves of pineapple (Ananas comosus) using chitin affinity column chromatography followed by several column chromatographies. PL Chi-A is a class III chitinase having a molecular mass of 25 kDa and an isoelectric point of 4.4. PL Chi-B and -C are class I chitinases having molecular masses of 33 k...

In vitro Environmental Factors Controlling Root Morphological Traits of Pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr)

Abstract—Developing our knowledge of when pineapple roots grow can lead to improved water, fertilizer applications, and more precise culture management. This paper presents current understanding of morphological traits in pineapple roots, highlighting studies using incubation periods and various solid MS media treated with different sucrose concentrations and pH, which directly assess in vitro ...

Polysaccharide composition of unlignified cell walls of pineapple [Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.] fruit.

The polysaccharides of cell walls isolated from the fleshy, edible part of the fruit of the monocotyledon pineapple [Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.] (family Bromeliaceae) were analyzed chemically. These cell walls were derived mostly from parenchyma cells and were shown histochemically to be unlignified, but they contained ester-linked ferulic acid. The analyses indicated that the noncellulosic poly...
